DescriptionWorking in small groups of 6 or 7, members share current problems and issues . The group then offer constructive suggestions and information to help the business progress. Here are some of the comments received after previous Business Brainstorms: 'The opportunity to work on my business rather than in my business for just a couple of hours with like minded professionals was stimulating. Everyone contributed with ideas and concrete assistance to help solve each others' business opportunities and challenges. I will certainly attend a similar event in future.' Graham Hey, Director, TSC (UK) Limited - 'Intelligent solutions for all your voice & mobile needs' "Business Brainstorm was a useful confidential, informal meeting where businesses can get together to discuss issues surrounding tough or tricky opportunities and results. .... Though everyone came from different business sectors from science, media, telecoms, print and finance, everyone all tried to help and offer advice for one another.... everyone was at ease.” Michael Cheung, Creative Director,Michael Associates Ltd : Marketing, Design and Communications Agency
‘A highly enjoyable event, not only was the brainstorming of my own issue helpful, but brainstorming other peoples issues also sparked ideas for my business. It also gave us the opportunity to find out more about each others businesses. ’ Mike Petty, Loughborough Surface Analysis Ltd and Chairman of LATI
Most people who attended had new ideas to follow up on after the event.
Join us for our next Business Brainstorm. This event will give members the opportunity to tap into fellow members knowledge and experience. Attendees will be divided into groups of 5/6 including a chair/facilitator. Each group will consist of a range of different businesses reflecting LATI’s diverse membership. Each member of the group will have 20 minutes to introduce their business to the others around their table and to place a current challenge in front of the group. The group will then discuss the situation, sharing thoughts, ideas and relevant past experience. Any business topic can be discussed. All conversations will be confidential within the group and attendees will be asked to sign an agreement to that effect. The group facilitators will all be experience business professionals and experts chosen for their abilities to mentor and support others. In order to ensure that we have the right number of facilitators for the event please book your place by 14th September. We may be unable to accept bookings after this date and on this occasion turning up unannounced is discouraged as there may not be a place in any of the groups.
