The Enterprise Awards are a celebration of the enterprising culture that is such an integral part of Loughborough University. Sir Nigel Rudd, who will become the Chancellor of the University in July, will present the Enterprise Awards on 6 October 2010.

The 11 finalists illustrate the commercial application of our research expertise and student entrepreneurship.

The Lord Stafford Awards East Midlands 2010 received a staggering 44 applications. The judges met on the 11th May at The Priest House, Donington, to start the judging deliberations. 10 applicants made it through to the second stage, whereby they received an onsite visit from the judges to hear more about their collaborations.

The European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC) is open to anybody with an idea which utilises satellite navigation technology, be it for position, time, navigation or any other application. This includes iPhone, iPad and Android apps.
